Youth at the Center Progress Report & Community Toolkits

In partnership with the California Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI), The Social Changery developed the Youth at the Center Progress Report and companion community toolkits to elevate the voices, experiences, and insights shared by young people, families, and community partners across California.
These resources reflect the collective work of communities and system partners that have helped shape a more responsive, equitable, and culturally grounded behavioral health system. The Youth at the Center Progress Report highlights progress made toward the original Youth at the Center vision and identifies opportunities to continue strengthening youth behavioral health efforts statewide.
The accompanying toolkits provide practical resources to support authentic community engagement, strengthen cross-sector partnerships, and ensure that community voice remains central to decision-making.
Together, these resources demonstrate the power of collaboration and reaffirm our commitment to creating systems that are informed by lived experience, responsive to local needs, and built alongside the communities they serve.
